Why every women needs to have a pelvic floor/core practice

Why is it important for women to learn exercises and lifestyle strategies for optimal pelvic floor / core function?

Integrated pelvic floor/core exercises can help prevent/manage incontinence, prolapse, improve back issues and aid recovery after childbirth or surgery, like hysterectomy.

Also, by building a better functioning PF & core, we can get back to those sweatier workouts without the worry of leakage.

Studies have shown that up to 20% of women have reported quitting their physical activities due to incontinence.

Regular exercise is especially important from peri menopause, when declining levels of heart protecting oestrogen make us more susceptible to heart disease.
